pathway from Waterloo bridge towards Charing Cross

well this was taken in Reading actually …this August there would be an outdoor concert festival called Reading Music Festival - Red Hot Chilli Pepper , Smashing Pumpkin , bunch of other bands will be performing - ticket price? 145 pounds for 3 days pass..should i go?

this was taken in Charing Cross Tube Station .. this particular secition was abit messy and not maintained properly..but it does give it that derelict vibe..

well that’s all for now!

cheers

My Lunch Today

Thursday, June 14th, 2007

Today I had some fries with two eggs for lunch at Mario’s.

What I’ve thought was a  salt shaker, I have innocently(sp?) sprinkle some on my fries.

Turns out - it was sugar..

so today I had sweet fries. attempt to cover up the sweet fries with tomato ketchup didn’t work since the ketchup tasted like a combination of worcesthire sauce mixed with bad pasta sauce

egg was nice though ..

the end…

Fun With X-Pro Pulak..

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

just got this processed at jessops… about 5 quids

i like the color and contrast..abit grainy though..not sure if it’s the film , or somewhere in the scanning?

X-pro processing is basically taking your slide positive film and processing it as if you’re processing your regular c-41 film negative

3 girls walking down New Oxford St

these are picture from London Soho - it is a pretty bohemian place , with sex shops , vinyl store and stuff..

Soho is famed for it’s night life - plenty of straight and gay clubs
here but the notion that it is a ‘red light’ area is pretty outdated
since it has quite become a popular hangouts among young and hip
Londoners…

no prostitute here - so the sign says.. apologies for the overexposed handle and door bell

some stigma from past times when prostitution is quite rampant..however
most brothel have now been converted into high class central living
area..but you do get some ppl knocking late at night for some ‘action’
he he

this is one of the trendy apparel store in Soho…apparently this one is called maneater..ouch..

i’m not sure what kind of fetish happens down there.. looks quite dodgy but i think it is just a gay bar..

london eye

for some reason this look rather ‘clean’ for an xpro..maybe certain colors are not affected much..

xpro renders some interesting green color…this was taken in Leicester Square..

that’s all folks!

what a freakin small world

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

yesterday I took a day off to take Syahrin and wife around London…

Syahrin is a photographer friend from KL (he took photos for Mazlin’s majlis tunang)

clockwise from top right
1)in the train going to london - 45 mins ride
2)syahrin’s wife trying to chase birds away towards me , i’ve asked her
to do this so I can capture some pigeon flying towards me kinda
movement..
3)syahrin thinking of the same thing trying to find pigeons to fly away around him
4)syahrin meeting up with future client - who happens to study in London but will get married soon in Kuala Lumpur

Thought I’d use the day off to look around for a small guitar practice
amp for my new ‘old’ jap fender telecaster i’ve just bought on ebay UK
coupla days back (Sorry cameras , i’m not gonna spend money on you guys
for a while)

So I went into this place by Totenham Ct road called Rhoads Music or
something like that , and upon entering I saw this familiar guy trying
out some guitar pedals - it turns out to be my friend Bode.

He’s a full time doctor (Ear Nose Throat specialist) and part time
sessionist with local music producers such Azman Abu Hassan working
with Ella and many scores of other artist. I barely see him in Malaysia
since he’s so busy but damn suddenly out of nowhere in freaking London
I saw him shredding away .. what are the chances of that?

doc passionately testing out the amps for me so I can make the right
decision.. "this amps has that early 80’s Gary Moore tone of a Strat
through a Marshall…"

and to make things more interesting and more proof of how small the
world this is , after meeting up with Bode , I took Syahrin to a phone
shop to buy UK prepaid SIM car and out of nowhere this malaysian indian
friend of his just appoached him ‘hey you, i know you , what are you
doing here la in London?’

boy was he surprised to see that fella among of all place - in London..they last met in langkawi i think..

i was thinking to myself ‘which malaysian again gonna pop up in front
of us after this, might as well make it hannah tan or something ‘

nope she didn’t show up anywhere in London that day..(pic from talent factory website)

but boy what a small world indeed..

ok enough ramblings..
